ROLE Illustrator and Motion Designer

GOAL Choose a book that has not been adapted to cinema yet, and create the opening credits for this hypothetic movie.
The concept used in this animated titles sequence is based in a circle of light, a searchlight that points to a scene. The little moments are presented as impressions of day-to-day experiences where directors or scriptwriters search for inspiration.
The car that accelerates down the road, the glass that fills with whiskey or the legs of a woman crossing the street are moments of the daily life of the book’s protagonist. The typography appears in horizontal movements from left to right and right to left, as if we were traveling around the streets of Los Angeles and the advertising signs on the buildings were passing through our eyes.
The chromatic palette is also inspired by the vibrant colors of street advertising neons, while the music takes us back to the 80s.
